Kenneth Choo has over twenty five years of experience with the franchise industry and brings a diverse set of skills, including international marketing, management, and franchising, as both a franchisee and a franchisor, to his background.
Most recently, Kenneth Choo Organize and teaching Franchising for Korean American Small Business Academy in New York.
Prior to this, Kenneth Choo founded Pete’s Inc. and utilized his unique combination of international marketing and franchise experience to serve as the President of Pete’s Holdings Inc.
Before founding Pete’s Inc., Ken was the Manager of International Franchise for Java City Coffee Inc.(U.S.) and the CEO for Java City Coffee, Korea. He also worked as the President of Franchise Korea, a largest network of franchise consultants.
During his career, Kenneth Choo has held more than 100 seminars on franchising in the U.S. and in Korea. He has worked with outplacement divisions of local military branches, small business development centers, local Chambers of Commerce, the US Embassy in Korea, to name a few, to educate franchise business opportunities to interested parties.
Ken was honored as a Distinguish Speaker for California State University Sacramento, CA for one of these speaking engagements, in fact. Finally, Ken also worked as a columnist for Chosun Ilbo, one of the largest Korean newspapers, as well as for KFA International Advisor, for franchise-related topics.
A native of Korea, Ken completed the Michael Thomas Franchise Course in California and studied Business Economics at a university in Korea. He recently relocated from Sacramento, CA and is currently living in New York. Ken is married, has two sons, is an avid golfer, and enjoys hiking.
